Snowboard lessons in Warsaw

This is what a run on the dry slope (igielit) looks like from a snowboarder’s POV. In summer we train on the mat, in winter on the snow-covered slope — the technique is the same.

Górka Szczęśliwicka is the perfect place for your first steps on a board — the gentle gradient and button lift let you focus on technique without stress. We teach from zero: the correct stance, sliding on one edge, turns and speed control.

Lessons are private (one-on-one), so the instructor devotes their full attention to you and matches the pace to your progress.

A standard lesson lasts 55 minutes. We start with a warm-up and getting comfortable with the gear, then move on to exercises matched to your level. Snowboarding can be demanding at the start, but after a few lessons most students ride down and turn both ways on their own.

We accept children from the age of 7 (for younger ones we recommend skiing first). Prior experience with board sports — skate, longboard, surfing or wakeboard — speeds up the learning.

We have our own rental shop — we provide boards, boots and helmets in a full size range. Equipment is rented only for the duration of the lesson with an instructor, and for trips and longer rentals. We do not rent clothing — prepare warm, waterproof clothes, gloves and goggles. Wrist guards are worth bringing too.
